Genesee Mountain Fitness Members & Guests,
In the midst of the public health challenges we are all working through, our members remain our top priority. We believe the best thing for us do is cancel all group classes.
The only classes on the schedule at this time is Pilates Reformer. There is a limit to the participation to five individual participants, and we can move the Pilates apparatus away from each other since there is plenty of room in the studio upstairs, to aide in everyone’s protection and immunity.
We have increased our frequency in cleaning all of our equipment, door knobs, surfaces, desktops, mats, spin bikes, machines, dumbbells, barbells, etc. as recommended by the CDC. We also look to each of you to help us by hypervigilant when here as well.
Here at Genesee Mountain Fitness, WE ARE STILL OPEN. Please take whatever other precautions make you most the comfortable. We have encouraged our staff to communicate with our members with any clinical signs and symptoms of the virus, including body aches, coughing, out of breath and extremely tired.
It is imperative that you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water before using equipment and after. Also, wipe down everything you’ve touched before and after use.
If YOU are experiencing ANY cold or flu like symptoms, PLEASE STAY HOME. This is for the safety of everyone!
Here are other measures recommended by the CDC.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- If you do touch your eyes, nose, and mouth or face, please wash your hands before touching anything else.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then discard.
- Keep disinfect and/or wipes with you. We have them all around the center along with spray bottles with bleach mixture.
If you have been tested with COVID-19, you must wait until you test result negative prior to resuming your workouts at Genesee Mountain Fitness.
We will continue to monitor the latest Corona virus updates and will do everything necessary to help keep our staff, members, guests and community safe.
Our community, your well-being, and your health and our health is so important to us. Thank you for assisting in keeping everyone safe and healthy.
Tami, Lisa & Dana!
